How much does custom software cost?
It depends on the scope. A simple booking system is a different job from an internal app with dozens of screens. You can also start with a smaller first version and expand it step by step. Written quote within 24 hours of a short call.
How long does development take?
It depends on the scope, and you get the exact date in the quote. We launch larger systems in stages so you can use the first part as soon as possible.
Is off-the-shelf software not enough?
Often it is, and then we will tell you. Custom software makes sense when ready-made tools do not fit your process, you pay for many features you never use, or you move data between tools by hand. If you are not sure, book an online IT consulting session and we will go through it together.
What will you need from us?
Someone who knows the process and has the occasional bit of time for us, examples of the spreadsheets or forms you work with today, and access to the tools that need connecting.
Will you move data from Excel or an old system?
Yes. We clean up and move data from spreadsheets or an export of the old system, so you do not start with an empty system.
Who owns the data and code?
The data and access are yours, and once paid you can use the system with no time limit. The quote states how we hand over the source code, so you know in advance what you get and what any future supplier would get.
