Next.js developer Slovakia: A fast Next.js website your staff can edit themselves.
We build company websites in Next.js and React from Bratislava, with a Sanity admin your staff can use without a developer. One of them loads in about a second (measured LCP 1.0 s).
- Measured LCP of 1.0 s on a client website
- Prices, dates and text edited in Sanity
- We will say so if WordPress suits you better
Built in advance, like a well-packed lunch.
Instead of promises, finished work.
Projects that fit this service. You can open each one.
The stack we build on, and what each part does for you.
Next.js and React
Pages are prepared ahead of time, so they open almost instantly, on a phone as well.
Sanity CMS
Your admin is built around your content, so staff change dates, prices and text without calling a developer.
Vercel previews
You approve each change on a preview, and if something goes wrong the site rolls back in one click.
Supabase and Node.js
When a site needs more than pages, these handle the database, logins, forms and links to other systems.
GitHub and Sentry
Every code change is on record, and we hear about errors before anyone has time to report them.
SEO basics
Titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap are part of the build, not an extra.
Next.js with Sanity or WordPress with plugins?
| Next.js with Sanity | WordPress with plugins | |
|---|---|---|
| Loading speed | Pages are ready before anyone asks for them. | Depends on the theme, the plugins and the hosting. It can be quick, but it takes upkeep. |
| Editing content | Fields for what you actually change, such as dates, prices and free places. | A familiar editor, with more ways to break a layout. |
| New features | Written for your process, such as a multi-step form. | A huge plugin ecosystem, often the quickest way to a standard feature. |
| Upkeep | Fewer moving parts, though code updates need a developer. | Core, theme and plugins all need regular updates. |
| Finding help later | You need someone who knows React, a smaller pool than WordPress. | Many agencies and freelancers can pick it up. |
| Upfront cost | Usually higher, as design and admin are made for your site. | Usually lower if a ready theme fits. |
This is a general comparison, not a verdict on WordPress. It remains a solid choice for blogs and content sites, and we also look after existing WordPress sites.
Where the speed actually comes from.
Pages built in advance
The server does not assemble a page for each visitor, because Next.js has already prepared it.
Smaller images
Images are usually the heaviest thing on a company website, so we shrink them.
Only the code the site uses
No page builder and no pile of plugins, so a phone has less to download and run.
Delivery from nearby
Cloudflare can serve content from the nearest server and filter out attacks and bots.
Testing on real screens
We check every screen on a phone and on a computer.
Next.js is not the answer for every company.
It makes sense when
- Slow pages are losing you visitors, most of them on phones.
- Your content has a clear structure that changes often, such as courses, dates, prices or listings.
- You want staff to edit content without being able to break the layout.
- The site may grow into something bigger, with logins, a database or a link to another system.
Choose something else when
- You mainly publish a blog and want plugins from the WordPress ecosystem.
- Your team already works well in WordPress and has no reason to change.
- A few pages and a contact form are all you need. A template or website builder may be enough.
- You want to start selling online fast. Shopify will usually get you there sooner.
What this looks like on a client website.
A company selling services on set dates needed a site that could keep up with an offer that changed every month. We built it on Next.js, React, Sanity and Vercel. In the admin, each date has its price, capacity and sign-up deadline, and free places show on the website right after a change.
The site loads in about a second (measured LCP 1.0 s), and the enquiries that followed were more than the client could take on, so new customers had to move to later dates. The stack did not do that alone, and your market will behave differently. What it did was remove two reasons to give up: a page that was hard to use on a phone and information that was out of date.
How a Next.js project runs with us.
- 01
Call and written quote
We talk through what the site has to do and whether Next.js is the right tool, then send the price and deadline in writing.
- 02
Content fields and design
We work out which fields your staff need in the admin, and you see the design in 3 to 7 days, before any code exists.
- 03
Development
The build takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on scope, and you follow progress on previews.
- 04
Launch and handover
We launch, connect Google Search Console and visitor analytics, and show your staff how the admin works.
Questions before you start.
We searched for a React developer in Bratislava. Is Next.js the same thing?
Close to it. Next.js is a framework built on React, so a Next.js site is a React project with ready-made pages and routing on top. If you need an application rather than a website, that falls under our custom software work.
Does Next.js help with SEO?
Not on its own. Fast pages give you a sound starting point, and titles, structured data and a sitemap come with the build. Where you rank still depends on your content and your competitors, and nobody can promise positions.
Are you Sanity CMS developers, or is Sanity optional?
Both. We often build the admin in Sanity because it can be shaped around your content, but it is an option, not a condition. We decide based on what the site has to do.
Can another developer take over the code later?
Yes, a developer who knows React can work with it, and GitHub keeps the full history of changes. The quote states how the source code is handed over, and the domain, hosting, content and access stay yours.
Can you move our current site to Next.js?
Yes, if it is worth doing. We look at what works today, move the content across and redirect the old addresses to the new ones. If the current site only needs a few fixes, we will tell you that instead.
How much does a Next.js website cost?
That depends on the number of pages and languages, on extras such as a multi-step form or a link to another system, and on who prepares the text and photos. We do not keep a price list for websites, so you get a figure in a written quote.
