WordPress maintenance Bratislava: A WordPress site you can stop worrying about.

WordPress maintenance means we take over updates to core, themes and plugins, daily backups, monitoring and bug fixes. We also look after sites we did not build, month to month, with no long-term contract.

  • Sites from other suppliers too
  • Monthly, cancel at any time
  • Access and content stay yours

I update the plugins, you run the business.

01What you get

What we do for your WordPress site every month.

  • Updates and patches

We keep WordPress, your theme and your plugins up to date, so the site is not an easy target.

  • Daily backups

The site is backed up every day, so we can restore it when something breaks.

  • Uptime monitoring

If the site goes down, monitoring alerts us and we get to work.

  • SSL and domain

We watch your certificate and domain so the site does not vanish because of a forgotten renewal.

  • Bug fixes

Fixing bugs on the site is part of the plan, so you do not have to find another developer.

  • Changes and reports

The Growth and Partner plans include monthly hours for changes and a traffic and speed report.

02Comparison

A maintenance plan or doing it yourself?

UpdatesWe run them for you and fix any bug they cause. They run on their own, but when one breaks something, it is your problem.
BackupsDaily backups we can restore the site from.Depends on your host or plugin. Check that a backup can really be restored.
DowntimeMonitoring alerts us.You often hear about it from a customer.
SSL and domainWe check that they stay valid.Reminders go to an inbox nobody may be reading.
BugsFixes are part of the plan.Every bug means finding someone to fix it.
CostA monthly plan you can cancel at any time.No plan, but your time and the risk of downtime.

Auto-updates are not bad. On a simple site with a few plugins they can be enough, as long as you know who steps in when something breaks.

03WordPress in practice

What most often goes wrong on WordPress.

  • A plugin after an update

A plugin or theme does not work with the new version, and suddenly a form stops working or the layout falls apart.

  • Abandoned plugins

The author stopped developing the plugin and nobody fixes its bugs any more. It needs replacing or removing.

  • An old PHP version

Your host moves to a newer PHP version and older theme or plugin code stops working.

  • Backups nobody has tested

A backup exists, but only a failure reveals that it is incomplete or cannot be restored.

  • Access held by a past supplier

The admin account or hosting is still with someone who no longer works on the site and does not reply.

  • A slow website

Lots of plugins and large images slow pages down, and you feel it most on a phone.

04When it makes sense

Not every WordPress site needs monthly maintenance.

It pays off when

  • Your website brings enquiries or orders, and downtime costs you money.
  • You run a WooCommerce shop that must not stop.
  • Your original supplier has left or stopped replying.
  • Nobody in the company has the time or interest to watch updates.

Less is enough when

  • You have one specific problem. A help hour without a plan is enough.
  • You change the site once a year and your host handles backups and updates.
  • Someone in your company really looks after the website.
  • The site is too old to be worth maintaining. We will tell you so and suggest what to do next.
05Taking over your site

How we take over your WordPress site.

For a site we did not build, the first month starts with an entry check. We find out what the site runs on, whether it has backups and what needs updating. Only then do you know what state it is in and what is worth keeping.

Please do not email us passwords; we request access securely. Access and content stay yours, and maintenance does not change that. If you cancel, you take the site forward yourself or to another supplier. Calls are in English or Slovak, online via Google Meet or in person in Bratislava.

  3. 03

In the first month we find out what the site runs on, whether it has backups and what needs updating.

  4. 04

    Regular maintenance

Updates, backups and monitoring every month, plus changes and a report depending on the plan.

07FAQ

Questions before you start.

Do you look after WordPress sites you did not build?

Yes. We start with an entry check: what the site runs on, whether it has backups and what needs updating. If the site is not worth maintaining, we tell you straight away.

Are automatic updates not enough?

On a simple site, sometimes. The trouble starts when an update breaks a form or the layout and nobody notices. With maintenance, we have a backup to restore from and we fix the bug.

Can you fix one specific problem without a plan?

Yes, that is what a one-off help hour is for. We can only judge a specific bug once we see the WordPress version and plugins, so we do not promise up front that every bug can be fixed.

Will you clean up a hacked WordPress site?

We do not promise hack cleanup up front. Tell us what is happening on the site, and we will say whether we can help or you need a security specialist.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. The plan is monthly, with no long-term contract. Access and content are yours, so after cancelling you can carry on alone or with another supplier.

How much does WordPress maintenance cost?

You will find the plans and prices on our website care page. They differ in how many hours for changes you get each month and whether you get a report. If your site needs more, we tell you after the entry check.
