n8n automation Slovakia: n8n pays off once your automation outgrows a few simple links.
We set up n8n automation in Slovakia for businesses whose processes have branches and exceptions, running in n8n Cloud or on a server of your choice. For connecting two apps, Make or Zapier is often enough, and we will tell you so.
- We choose between n8n, Make, Zapier and custom code
- Live only after testing on real cases
- Workflows, access and documentation are yours
I wire the nodes, you get your Mondays back.
What you get with n8n.
Workflow design
We map what triggers the process, which steps follow and what should happen with each exception.
n8n setup
We set n8n up in n8n Cloud or on your own server, depending on where your data should run.
App connections
Your website, online shop, invoicing, calendar or Google Workspace connect through ready-made nodes, or through an API if the app has one.
Custom code where it helps
When ready-made nodes fall short, we add a step with custom code rather than bend your process around the tool.
Run logs and alerts
Every run is logged and errors trigger an alert, so we find out before your client does.
Documentation and handover
You get a description of what runs where, so another supplier could take the workflows over.
Three workflows where n8n often makes sense.
Example: enquiries by language
A form on a bilingual website triggers the workflow through a webhook. The enquiry goes into your CRM or Google Sheets and is assigned to whoever handles that language or service. If nobody responds within the agreed time, the workflow sends a reminder.
Example: bookings that remind themselves
A new booking triggers a confirmation to the attendee, a reminder the day before and an attendee list for whoever runs the session. When a slot fills up, the team gets an alert and can close it in time.
Example: the Monday numbers
On Monday morning a scheduled workflow pulls sales, orders and new enquiries from your tools and sends them in one email. Nobody pieces figures together from five places, and the meeting starts from the same data.
n8n, or Make and Zapier?
| n8n | Make and Zapier | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | n8n Cloud or a server of your choice. | The provider's cloud. You cannot install them on your own server. |
| What you pay for | In the cloud, workflow runs, however many steps each one has. | The volume of tasks processed, so a long process costs more. |
| Complex processes | Branches, loops and custom code steps are routine. | Make handles fairly complex scenarios. Zapier is strongest on simple ones. |
| Ready-made connectors | Fewer ready-made nodes, the rest through an API. | Plenty of connectors, so the first link is quick. |
| Who can maintain it | Larger workflows need someone technical. | A non-technical colleague can adjust simple scenarios. |
We suggest Zapier for a few simple links and a quick start, and Make for visual scenarios with no server to look after. Tool pricing and terms change, so we check them at the design stage. You pay tool fees directly to the provider.
n8n Cloud or your own server?
| n8n Cloud | Self-hosted | |
|---|---|---|
| Technical skills | No installation. n8n handles hosting and updates. | Installation, server and maintenance sit with you or your supplier. |
| Where data lives | According to n8n, on servers in Frankfurt. | On your own server or one we agree on. |
| Cost | A monthly plan based on workflow runs. | The Community edition has no licence fee. You pay for the server and its upkeep. |
| Internal systems | The system has to be reachable from the internet. | Workflows can run inside your own network. |
| Main risk | Costs grow with the number of runs. | Neglected updates and backups. |
Most smaller businesses should start in the cloud. We go self-hosted for sensitive data, high run volumes or internal systems. Workflows can be exported and moved, and access credentials are then set up again.
n8n is not for everyone.
It makes sense when
- Your process has many steps, branches and exceptions, and per-task pricing would add up.
- Data has to stay on your own server or inside your company.
- An internal system needs connecting and has an API but no ready-made connector.
- You expect more automations over time and want them all in one place.
You can skip it when
- You only need to connect two apps. Zapier or Make will do it faster, with no server.
- A tool you already use has the feature. Just switch it on.
- The process still changes every month. Settle it first, or you will automate the confusion.
- The process is the core of your business and runs at high volume. Custom code or a bespoke system is usually the better fit.
From a first look to a running workflow.
- 01
A look at your screen
You show us once how the task is done today, and together we pick the step with the most benefit and the least risk.
- 02
Tool and hosting
We choose between n8n, Make, Zapier and custom code, and for n8n between the cloud and your own server.
- 03
Build and test
We build the workflow and run it on real cases, including the ones where it should stop and ask.
- 04
Launch and changes
It goes live only after testing, and we adjust it when your process or one of the apps changes.
Questions before you start.
Is n8n free?
The Community edition on your own server has no licence fee, so you pay for the server and its upkeep. n8n Cloud is a monthly plan based on workflow runs. You pay those costs directly to the provider, not to us.
Why not just use Zapier?
Often you should. For a few simple links it is quicker to set up and needs no server. n8n starts to win on long workflows with branches, or when data has to stay on your own server.
What does a workflow automation agency do that we cannot?
Mostly the unglamorous parts: handling exceptions, testing on real cases, logging, alerts and upkeep. A simple link you can often build yourself. We earn our keep when a failure would cost you an order or an invoice.
What happens when a workflow fails?
The run stops at that step and an alert goes out, so the problem does not stay hidden. We handle the fix, and how quickly we respond depends on the care plan we agree on.
What drives the cost of an n8n setup?
The number of steps and apps, the exceptions, data volume and whether you want monitoring after launch. Tool or server fees are separate. You get the price in writing before we start.
Can we meet in Bratislava and talk in English?
