Website redesign Bratislava: A new website, without losing what already works.
We redesign and rebuild company websites from Bratislava: we keep what works, move the content across and redirect old addresses to the new pages. It suits a site that only a previous supplier can edit as well as one that has simply aged.
- Old addresses redirected to the new pages
- New design shown before any code is written
- Domain and hosting in your name
Old addresses, this way please. Nobody gets lost.
Instead of promises, finished work.

What a redesign with us includes.
A review of the current site
We look at what works first, so pages that bring in enquiries do not disappear along with the old design.
Content moved across
The text and images worth keeping come over to the new site, and the quote states how much that covers.
Redirects from old addresses
Old addresses point to their new pages, so neither visitors nor Google hit a dead end.
New structure and design
You see them before development starts, with two rounds of comments included.
An admin you control
You change text, photos and prices yourself, so the next update does not depend on any supplier.
Search Console from day one
The new site is connected to Google Search Console and visitor analytics, so you can see how it does after launch.
When the old supplier holds the keys.
The domain is in their name
Start here. A new site cannot go live on your address until you control it, so ask for a transfer first.
You have no logins
List what you can reach today: hosting, domain, email, analytics. Whatever is missing, ask for it in writing.
They no longer reply
The public pages can still serve as the source for moving your content, so a silent supplier does not have to stop the project.
The site runs on their own system
Closed systems often cannot be moved. The content then comes across and the site itself gets rebuilt.
Email runs on the same domain
Find out where it sits before anything is switched, because losing company email is worse than losing a design.
A full rebuild or a visual refresh?
| Full rebuild | Visual refresh | |
|---|---|---|
| What changes | Structure, design and code. | Mainly the look, on the same system. |
| Dependence on the old supplier | It ends, because you get a new site and your own admin. | It often stays, along with the same limits on editing. |
| Speed on a phone | Can be dealt with at the source. | Limited by what sits underneath. |
| Risk to Google positions | Higher, as addresses and pages change, which is why redirects matter. | Lower, as addresses usually stay as they are. |
| Effort and budget | More, as design, development and moving content are all in scope. | Less, as long as the foundations are sound. |
A rebuild is not always the answer. If the current site is sound and only looks dated, a refresh or a few reworked pages may do the job, and we will tell you so.
Will we lose our Google positions?
Nobody can honestly promise you will not. A redesign changes pages, addresses and text, Google has to reassess them, and positions can move for a while even when the work is done properly. What we can do is cut out the avoidable losses.
Before launch we go through the addresses that matter, match each one to its new page and set up the redirects. The pages that bring in visitors today keep their subject on the new site rather than being merged away. Titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap go live with the site, and Google Search Console shows you how it is being picked up.
Not every old website needs replacing.
A redesign makes sense when
- Every change to text or prices means waiting for a developer or the old supplier.
- The site is awkward on a phone, or visitors give up before it loads.
- People arrive but cannot tell within a few seconds what you do.
- You have outgrown it: new services, new languages or features it cannot handle.
Hold off when
- It brings in enquiries and only looks a little dated. Fix the weakest pages first.
- The real problem is too few visitors. A new design will not bring them, but SEO or ads might.
- You are tired of looking at it, but customers have no complaints.
- Your offer is about to change. Settle that first, then redesign around it.

Questions before you start.
Who owns our old website, and can you simply copy it?
That depends on your contract with the old supplier, and we cannot give you legal advice on it. In practice we build a new site and bring across the content you are entitled to use, so you do not need the old code.
How long does a redesign take?
The new design takes 3 to 7 days and development 1 to 3 weeks depending on scope, and moving a lot of content adds to that scope. The clock starts once the deposit is paid and we have your materials, and the quote gives the exact date.
What does a website redesign cost?
It depends on how much changes: the number of pages and languages, how much content has to move and any extra features. You get the figure in a written quote rather than a price list, and the final payment is due only after handover.
Can we stay on WordPress?
Yes, if it suits how you work. We recommend staying when you rely on its plugins or your team already knows it. If slow pages or constant plugin trouble are why you want a redesign, moving to Next.js may make more sense.
Have you taken over a site from another supplier before?
Yes. One company selling services on set dates could only edit its site through its previous supplier, so old dates and prices stayed online. We built a new site with a Sanity admin. The company now changes dates and prices itself, and enquiries outgrew what it could take on.
Can you check our current site before we commit?
Yes, that is what the free website audit is for. We go through your site personally and tell you what is holding it back. You can then decide whether you need a redesign at all.
